Liberal feminism

Liberal feminism pursues gender equality primarily through legal reform and individual opportunity, assuming that dismantling formal barriers to education, work, and political participation is sufficient for liberation. This approach has produced real gains but often leaves untouched the economic structures and caregiving systems that constrain women's actual freedom, particularly for poor and working-class women.
