Pan-Africanism

A political and cultural movement asserting African unity, self-determination, and shared destiny across national borders and diaspora—rooted in the conviction that colonialism fractured what colonialism never created, and that liberation requires continental solidarity. Pan-Africanism moves beyond ethnic or national identity to imagine Africa as a coherent force in world affairs, though tensions persist between idealism and the messy realities of state power.
