Freedom Within Devotion

Mirabai's life embodied paradox: absolute devotion to Krishna coexisted with radical freedom from social constraint. She would not marry a king, would not conform to widow conventions, would not silence her truth. In modern relationships, this concept addresses a false choice: choosing between authentic self-expression and committed partnership. True devotion doesn't demand self-erasure.
