Nasreddin's tradition teaches that the examined life isn't more serious, more disciplined, or more rational than ordinary life—it's often simpler, more playful, more aligned with what actually is. By practicing wise foolishness, we train ourselves to trust perception before explanation, to move with situations rather than imposing predetermined solutions.
