Yes-and is improv's core rule: accept what someone offers, then build on it rather than blocking or negating—which paradoxically makes collaborative storytelling work better than trying to stay "realistic." Applied outside comedy, it's a frame for handling disagreement and uncertainty by finding what's workable in another person's premise instead of arguing about whether they're right.
