Interleaved practice

Interleaved practice means mixing different skills or topics in one study session rather than blocking—doing problem type A, then B, then back to A—which forces your brain to keep pattern-matching fresh and discrimination sharp. It feels harder in the moment but produces far stronger retention and the ability to choose the right approach when similar challenges appear later.
