Kaivalya, liberation or isolation, is Patanjali's ultimate goal—the mind freed from all conditioning and fluctuation, standing in its own nature. While traditionally spiritual, kaivalya offers a crucial vision for the future of knowledge: human minds liberated from dependence on algorithmic intermediaries, capable of direct understanding and independent thought. This is not rejection of AI but its proper use—as a tool that ultimately serves human autonomy rather than replacing it.
