The Circle of Remembrance

Rabia practiced dhikr—remembrance of the Divine through repetition and presence. Applied to community, the Circle of Remembrance is a gathering where members vocalize and ritually affirm their shared values, purpose, and commitment to one another. This might occur weekly or seasonally, creating sacred time when the community consciously reconnects with its founding vision and mutual devotion. Through this practice, abstract ideals become lived experience. Members hear each other's commitment, feel held by collective intention, and reinforce the bonds that weather conflict and change. The circle becomes the container where individual hearts synchronize, preventing drift and fragmentation.
