Pantheism and panentheism

Pantheism identifies God with the universe itself (all is God), while panentheism holds that God is in all things but also transcends them, like a mind in a body but exceeding it. These distinctions matter because they shape whether you see nature as literally divine or as containing divinity, which changes how you relate to ecological crisis, suffering, and the possibility of a personal God.
