When peer groups develop unequal expertise or success

My writing group has been together for three years and we've all gotten better but one member's work has really taken off and now when they share pieces for feedback it feels different because they don't really need our input anymore but we still need theirs. The dynamic has shifted and nobody wants to acknowledge that we might not all be peers in the same way anymore.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community built on mutual exchange struggles when members develop at different rates, creating new hierarchies that threaten the original foundation of reciprocal support.
