When parents worry their child is settling for companionship instead of romantic love

My daughter is getting married to someone she describes as her 'best friend and life partner' but she's also told me privately that she's never felt that overwhelming 'in love' feeling with him. I want to support her choice but I'm also worried she's settling for companionship and calling it love, and I don't know what advice I should be giving her or if I should stay out of it entirely.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A parent is struggling with whether to challenge their adult child's definition of love or trust their child's capacity to know what they need.
