When couples lose their playful spark and everything becomes practical

My husband and I used to be the couple who would randomly dance in the kitchen or have silly conversations with our pets, but somewhere along the way we became focused on efficiency and getting things done and I miss the version of us that was more playful. We still love each other but everything feels so practical now and I don't know how to bring back that sense of wonder we used to create together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Shared wonder requires vulnerability, but efficiency-minded partnerships often sacrifice playfulness for productivity without realizing what they've lost.
