When couples lose their playful spark and can't find their way back to fun

My partner and I used to improvise silly songs together while cooking and make up ridiculous voices for our pets, but somewhere along the way we both became these serious people who just discuss logistics and watch TV in separate rooms. We keep saying we should 'do something fun' but then we just scroll our phones and I'm starting to feel like we've forgotten how to be playful with each other.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The weight of adult responsibilities has gradually crowded out the spontaneous joy that once bonded you, leaving both people wanting connection but unable to access their shared sense of play.
