When friend groups lose their spontaneity and sense of adventure

Our friend group used to do spontaneous things and have random adventures but now we only see each other for birthday dinners and scheduled hangouts that feel more like obligations. Everyone seems to have forgotten how to just mess around and be weird together and I don't know if we're all just too old for that now or if something shifted.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A group of friends has gradually replaced organic play with structured social obligations, leaving everyone wondering if genuine fun is still possible together.
