When old friend groups grow apart

Our friend group from college used to be so close but now when we get together it feels forced and we all just talk about work and kids and nobody mentions how different we've become. I miss them but I don't know if the people I miss still exist.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The gap between who we were together and who we've become separately can make maintaining connection feel like performing a version of ourselves we've outgrown.
