When spiritual seekers in a group want to explore different paths together

Four of us started a regular gathering to explore spirituality outside traditional religion, but two people want to focus on Eastern practices and two want to stay more philosophical and secular. Our monthly meetings have become subtle tugs-of-war over what we're actually doing together, and I'm afraid we're going to lose this thing we all need but can't seem to define.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The freedom to seek can become its own form of bondage when the seeking itself divides the seekers.
