When spiritual friendships diverge between different wisdom traditions

My closest friend and I have been studying these three dharmic and ancient Persian traditions together for years, drawn to how Sikhism, Jainism, and Zoroastrianism each approach the divine differently, but lately she's becoming more orthodox in her Sikh practice while I'm feeling pulled toward Jain principles of ahimsa. Our conversations that used to feel like shared seeking now feel like we're moving in opposite directions, and I'm afraid we're losing the spiritual friendship that brought us together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two friends who began exploring multiple traditions together are discovering their paths are leading them toward different commitments, threatening their shared spiritual journey.
