When interfaith communities face political polarization

Our neighborhood interfaith group formed after 9/11 and we've met monthly for years but lately the political climate has made it harder to separate our spiritual conversations from our political disagreements. Some meetings end with people upset and we're wondering if we should take a break or lean into the discomfort.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community discovers that seeking the sacred together becomes more complex when the world around them makes even the desire for unity feel political.
