Learn the new locks and codes so your skill grows with the trade, teach what you know to someone coming up, take pride in a lifetime of moments you made better. Crafts change. The instinct to help a stranger in a bind, and the skill to actually do it, is worth keeping alive in whatever form the work takes next.
