Periagoge only works if you bring your real life to it — the goals, the setbacks, the things you haven’t said out loud. That asks a lot of you. Here is how we earn it: in how we protect your data, how we respect that it’s yours, and how your coach behaves.
“Can I trust an AI with this?”
It’s the honest first question, so here’s the honest answer: in some ways an AI coach is easier to trust with your real life, not harder.
It’s private in a way a person can’t be. There’s no one on the other end forming opinions of you, and nothing you say costs you socially. You can be fully honest. It’s there whenever you need it — 2am, mid-setback, or just stuck — consistent and patient, never having a bad day. And it remembers your whole story, so you build on your progress instead of re-explaining yourself.
That’s the upside. Everything below is how we make sure it’s earned.
We protect your data like it’s our own.
The boring, essential part — done properly, not as an afterthought.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest.Your data is protected on the wire and in storage, on managed, hardened infrastructure.
- Strict access isolation.Row-level security keeps your records reachable only by you — not by other members, and not by accident.
- Admin access is limited and MFA-protected.Only authorized staff can reach operational tools, and only after multi-factor authentication.
- We never sell your data.No advertisers, no data brokers. Your growth is the product — your information isn’t.
- We never touch your card number.Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details never reach our servers.

- Export anytime.Take a full copy of your data whenever you want it, in a portable format.

- We collect only what serves your growth.If a piece of data doesn’t help your coaching, we don’t want it.
- Learning happens on de-identified patterns.When the platform gets smarter about what helps people, it learns from anonymized shapes — never your words tied to your name.

We’d rather be trusted than impressive.
We’re an early-stage company, and we won’t dress that up. We don’t yet hold formal certifications like SOC 2, and we won’t pretend we do. As we grow, we’ll invest in independent audits and publish what we actually achieve — here, on this page. If you ever have a security or privacy concern, tell us directly and a person will answer.
