Does no feedback really mean my work is good?
When no one says your work is wrong, you take it as proof it is right. But silence is not the same as approval. It usually just means no one has looked closely, or no one felt safe enough to speak. You have been using the absence of criticism as your standard, and that is a shaky place to stand. The danger is quiet. Without real feedback, small problems go unnamed and you drift, feeling fine the whole way. The lack of pushback feels like success, when often it just means the honest conversation is not happening. Stop waiting for problems to announce themselves and go ask for them. Pick one person and say, directly, what would you change about this. Make it easy for them to be honest. Real feedback, even when it stings, is worth far more than a silence you have been reading as praise.
