A leader running on empty makes bad calls, misses warning signs, and wears down the people around them. Set a boundary and keep it. Not a rigid one, because real emergencies happen. But make it a real habit. If you're reviewing charts at 10 p.m. every night, something in your system or your delegation is broken. Fix that. Don't accept it as the price of leading. Your team watches how you treat your own time. If you act like it's worthless, they will too, and you'll lose your best people to burnout. You don't get more done by giving up everything. You get what matters done by being careful about where your energy goes. Your health, your relationships, your clear thinking. Those matter. Guard them.
