You build with clear eyes about who your work displaces and a real sense of what it should serve. That is a rare posture in this field. Responsibility here is not a feeling; it is a series of choices. Who gets consulted before the rollout. Whether there is a path for the people affected. Whether the thing genuinely serves someone or just cuts a cost. You have more say in these than you sometimes let yourself believe. Keep a short account of what you are actually building and for whom. Once in a while, ask whether it still points at something worth serving. If it drifts, say so out loud in the room where it can be changed. Clear eyes are only worth something when they move your hands.
