Courage is not throwing yourself away. It is acting well in the face of fear, weighing the risk with a clear head, and doing your duty without pretending you are invincible. Train so your body knows what to do when your mind is loud. Then, in the moment, trust that training and act. You cannot remove the danger. You can meet it prepared, steady, and clear about why you are there. That is all any of us can do with fear.
