How do I get off the treadmill of always chasing new clients?
You can land clients reliably, and yet you never get to rest because there is always a next one to chase. That treadmill is exhausting, and it is real. When your income resets to zero after every job, no amount of skill at finding work makes the running stop. The way off is to build things that bring clients to you instead of you always going to get them. Past clients who return, referrals, a reputation that does some of the work while you sleep. You are good at the getting; now put some of that energy into the keeping and the compounding, so each client leads to the next without a sprint. Pick one past client this month and reconnect, not to sell, just to stay in their mind. Repeat work and referrals are how the treadmill slows. You cannot stop needing clients, but you can build a system where they increasingly come to you.
