How do I get used to the heights and systems in wind turbine work?
Two big things are hitting you at once: the height, which the body fears by instinct, and the systems, which take real time to learn. Feeling overwhelmed by both together is completely normal for someone new. It does not mean you are not cut out for this. It means you are early, and early is heavy. The height gets manageable through your training and your gear, not by pretending you are not afraid. Trust the harness, learn the safety steps until they are automatic, and let repetition turn the climb from terrifying into routine. The fear settles as your body learns it is secure. Give that its time. It does come. The systems come the same way, one at a time. Do not try to learn the whole turbine in a week. Learn one part, then the next. Watch the experienced techs and ask your questions. Everything that overwhelms you now becomes ordinary with enough climbs and enough jobs. Be patient with yourself and keep going up.
