How do I quickly tell how sick a patient really is?

You can't yet judge how sick someone is fast enough, and in this work that gap feels dangerous, because seconds matter and you know it. After each patient, pause and name the one or two signs that told you how sick they really were. Writing those down builds the mental shortcuts speed depends on.
