How do I stop being the bottleneck in my own team?

You built a system where nothing moves without you, and now you are the wall it all piles up against. It came from a good place: you care, and you want the work to be right. But when every decision waits for your eyes, you have quietly told your team their judgement doesn't count. The work slows, and so do they. Trust is not something people earn before you give it. It is something that grows only when you hand it over first. If you never let work go out without your review, you never find out that most of it would have been fine. You also never let anyone grow into the person who could carry it for you. So pick a few low-risk things and let them leave without your review.
