How do I stop carrying so many unfinished problems in my head?
You carry a huge caseload and drop no one. That is a rare skill, and people rely on it without ever seeing the cost. The cost is that your mind never fully closes for the day. All those unfinished problems keep humming, and that hum is exhausting. Here is what is worth hearing: a problem written down and trusted to a system is not the same as a problem you must personally remember. Your mind treats them the same and keeps holding both. The relief comes from truly handing the open items to something outside you, so your head is allowed to rest. At the end of each day, empty the open loops onto paper or a screen, every one, and tell yourself plainly that they are safe there until morning. It feels small, but it gives your mind permission to set the weight down. You are allowed to stop carrying it while you sleep.
