How do I stop freezing when pitching investors?
You freeze because in that moment the whole thing feels like it's riding on you, and the words for why your company matters get buried under the fear of getting it wrong. That freeze isn't a lack of belief. It's belief under too much pressure. You care so much that your mind locks. Here's what can loosen it. Investors aren't waiting to judge you as a person. They're trying to understand one thing: what problem you solve and why you're the one to solve it. You already know that answer cold, better than anyone in the room. The story doesn't need to be perfect. It needs to be true and clear, and you have both. Strip it down to three sentences: the problem, your solution, and why it matters now. Say them out loud until they're as natural as your own name. When the nerves hit, you won't reach for a polished speech. You'll reach for those three true sentences, and they'll carry you into the rest.
