How do I stop putting my own future on hold while helping others?

You have a gift for unlocking people, one student at a time. And underneath it runs a restlessness: you are building everyone else's future while your own sits waiting. The patience, the read on people, the ability to open a locked door, none of that is spent when you give it away. It is yours. The question is not whether helping others cost you your future.
