The unease you feel is a good sign, not a bad one. It means your conscience is awake. Someone who could move minds and never wondered about it would be the one to worry about. You are asking the right question. Skill is not the same as harm. A knife cuts bread or a hand depending on who holds it. The real matter is what you point your craft at. Are you helping people see something true, or leading them toward what only serves you? You can usually feel the difference. Before your next campaign, ask whether you would be comfortable if the person on the other end saw exactly how it was made. If yes, keep going. If not, that discomfort is telling you where your line is. Honor it.
