Should I override the AI when it's wrong for the customer?

You use the tools, and mostly they are fine, but every so often the system recommends something that is plainly wrong for the real customer in front of you, and you freeze on whether to override it. That hesitation shows you actually see the person, not just the screen. Here is the thing the system cannot know. It sees data. You see the human: their face, their real need, the thing they are not saying, the context no field captures. When the recommendation clashes with what is obviously right for this person, that is not a glitch to ignore. It is exactly the moment a human on the floor exists for. So trust what you see. When the machine and the actual customer disagree, go with the customer, and do it without guilt. This week, catch one moment where the recommendation is wrong for the person and quietly do right by them instead. The system optimizes averages. You serve the one standing there, and that is worth more than a suggested upsell.
