What can a lawyer do that AI tools can't?

Judgment is not information retrieval. It is knowing which considerations matter here, for this person, right now, and standing behind the answer. That remains yours. So let the tools take the mechanical load, and put your energy into the judgment they cannot touch. Next time you finish a task, ask which part was retrieval and which part was actual wisdom. Lean harder into the second. That is where you are irreplaceable, and naming it clearly is how you stop fearing the tools and start using them.
