What do I do if I don't know what career I want?
Not knowing what you want to do, while everyone keeps asking, is a specific kind of pressure. The question makes you feel behind, as if everyone else got a map you missed. Here is the truth: most people do not actually know either. Many who seem sure are just guessing louder. You are not supposed to know the whole answer at the start. A direction is found by moving, not by sitting still until certainty arrives. The point of these years is to try things, learn what fits and what does not, and let the path reveal itself as you walk it. So stop trying to answer the big question and answer a small one instead: what is one thing you could try in the next month that you are a little curious about? Do that, and notice how it feels. You do not need the destination yet. You just need the next step, and then the one after that.
