What if I took a job for the money and it doesn't fit me?

The financial logic was sound. Money is real, and choosing a role because it pays well is not shallow or foolish. You solved a real problem with that decision. What you did not fully price in was the other cost, the daily friction of spending your hours in work that does not suit who you are. Both the pay and the poor fit are true. And quietly begin exploring roles that fit you better at similar pay, because those often exist once you look. Endure it with a plan, not forever by default.
