Why do I help everyone else but not myself?
You can move almost anyone to change their body. You have spent that gift generously. And now you are noticing the strange arithmetic of it: all that energy for others, so little left for your own life. That is not hypocrisy. It is what happens when caring for people becomes the place you hide from yourself. It is easier to pour into someone else than to face your own. When you coach, you are in control and you are needed. Your own life is messier and asks harder things of you. Seeing this clearly is not a failure. It is the beginning of turning some of that care inward. This week, treat yourself like one of your clients. Pick one small thing you keep telling others to do and have not done yourself. Schedule it like it is an appointment you would never cancel on them. You are worth the same energy you give away.
