How do I get a better work-life balance?
'Balance' is a bit of a myth if you picture a perfect 50/50 every day — real life doesn't work like that. A better goal is a life where work has its place but doesn't swallow everything else. Start by noticing where the line has quietly disappeared. Protect a few boundaries like they matter, because they do: a real end to the workday, some time that's off-limits, one thing outside work you don't cancel. You won't get every boundary, but even small ones remind you that you're a person, not just a function. And look at what's really driving the imbalance. Often it's not the job demanding everything — it's a fear of letting someone down, or a belief that your worth depends on how much you produce. Rest isn't a reward you earn after you've done enough, because there is no 'enough.' Build a life you're actually living, not just a job that happens to contain you.
