Courses, Paths, Prompts, Concepts & Tools — What's the Difference?

Periagoge's library has five types of content, each serving a different purpose — and all of it is free to read.

Courses are structured lessons — typically 20–40 minutes — that walk you through a specific skill or challenge, with a coach to guide you.

Learning Paths group multiple courses into a recommended sequence for a specific goal, like "Land Your First Job in 30 Days."

Prompts are ready-to-use templates you can run with a coach — or copy into any AI tool. Faster and more targeted than starting from scratch.

Concepts are reference definitions — the building blocks that courses teach. If a term comes up and you want to understand it more deeply, the concept page explains it.

Tools are interactive, step-by-step frameworks you work through with a coach — more structured than a prompt, less linear than a course.
