Inner child work and reparenting

Inner child work addresses the parts of citta that were formed in early experience and continue to carry the emotional charge of that time, regardless of chronological age. Reparenting is the deliberate practice of providing the self with the conditions — safety, attunement, validation — that were insufficient in original development. This is not regression but integration: bringing the younger configurations of self into relationship with the current one.
