Why can I do my job but not see how the store runs?

You do your work well. You show up, you finish your tasks, and still the whole operation feels hidden, like everyone else got a map you never received. There is no map. The manager does not see it all either. Every person in that store knows their own corner and guesses at the rest, same as you.
