Why does the complex machinery still stump me?

You can run most equipment now. That is real progress, not a small thing. But running a machine and repairing one are different skills. Running asks you to follow steps. Repair asks you to find what broke, and that takes practice you have not put in yet. This is not a sign you lack talent. It is a sign you have not yet stood next to enough failures. Every skilled repair tech was once stumped by the same machines you face now. The only difference between them and you is hours spent with the thing broken open. You are working on this with others, so use them. Someone in your pod has fixed what stumps you. Someone else is stumped by what you already know. Trade. Do not sit alone with your confusion when the fix is a conversation away.
