I've been in this leadership development cohort for eight months and there's this unspoken competition happening where everyone presents their most polished self and their cleanest failures and I'm tired of it but I also don't want to be the one who breaks the professional veneer. We're supposed to be learning from each other but I feel like we're all performing growth rather than actually doing it.
More people experience this than they realize.
Everyone in the group performs a polished version of themselves, and you're tired of faking it.
