When business partners develop unequal emotional labor without discussing it

My business partner and I started this company as equals but somewhere along the way I became the one who handles all the difficult conversations with employees and clients while they focus on the 'vision stuff' and I'm starting to resent that they get to be the good guy. We've never actually discussed how this happened or whether it's what either of us wants.
