When founders can't delegate because they can't let go of control

My co-founder and I are both working eighty-hour weeks and we keep saying we need to hire people but every time we're about to pull the trigger one of us finds a reason why this person isn't right and I'm starting to think we're afraid to let anyone else into what we've built. The business is suffering because we can't scale ourselves but we can't seem to trust anyone else either.
