When regulatory partners across jurisdictions can't align on global compliance strategy

My counterpart in the European office and I are supposed to be coordinating our regulatory strategy across jurisdictions, but we keep running into situations where what's compliant in one region creates problems in the other, and neither of us wants to be the one to tell our respective leadership teams that their preferred approach won't work globally. We've been having increasingly tense calls where we're both trying to protect our own regions while knowing the overall strategy is incoherent.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two regulatory professionals are caught between conflicting jurisdictional requirements and competing organizational loyalties, undermining their ability to create coherent global compliance.
