When workplace pressure creates conflict between shift supervisors

My shift supervisor and I used to work well together but ever since the new efficiency metrics came down from corporate, we've been second-guessing each other's decisions on the floor and it's starting to affect how our crews work together. We both want what's best for production but we're handling the pressure completely differently and I think our teams are picking up on the tension between us.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two partners are letting external pressure drive a wedge between them instead of addressing how their different coping styles are affecting their collaboration.
