When professional development groups drift into superficial networking

Our cohort went through this intensive leadership program together six months ago and we committed to checking in with each other regularly, but now when we meet it's just professional updates and networking rather than the honest development work we said we wanted. Everyone seems fine with this shift but I keep thinking we're wasting something that could actually help us grow.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A learning group is avoiding vulnerability by retreating to safer, less meaningful forms of connection.
