Our farm crew has been pushing back on the new precision agriculture technology we invested in and there's this tension where the older workers think we're trying to replace their knowledge with computers while the younger ones are frustrated that we're not implementing it fast enough. I'm caught in the middle trying to manage both the technology rollout and the crew dynamics and honestly I don't think any of us are communicating well about what this change actually means for how we work.
More people experience this than they realize.
You are stuck between older and younger workers fighting over new technology, and no one is talking honestly.
