Our team talks constantly about work-life balance and being supportive of people's boundaries but we consistently schedule last-minute meetings, expect instant responses to Slack, and praise the people who work weekends. I participate in this contradiction and so does everyone else but no one acknowledges that our actions don't match our stated values.
